After a long time at weekend party night when you will get home in wee hours, you may want to go into bed directly but you should not ! Better to remove the eye makeup before going into bed. Leaving makeup on overnight can cause your lashes to dry out and break.

How to Remove the Eye Makeup:

  1. Cotton Pad & Eye Makeup Remover:  A dual phase eye makeup remover works for most of eye makeups. It has the dissolving power of an oil based remover with gentle, soothing qualities of cleansing water. If you are using heavy makeup, then this is the best option to remove. Please make sure that you shake the bottle well before using. If you use water proof mascara & liner then use the oil based cleanser. Cleanser water works well for extra sensitive skin and is able to remove lighter makeup easily.
  2. Baby Wipes: Baby wipes are good to go, if you are looking for mess-free method to remove the eye makeup. Take a baby wipe and wipe it across the eye, of course closed eye !  and the makeup will come right off.  You can have the same on your bed side and no need to go for face wash in night. Some removers comes in wipes form too.
  3. Olive Oil: You can prepare the eye makeup remover at home by adding 2 ounces of witch hazel with 2 ounces of olive oil. Shake them well, and then dab some on cotton ball and wipe across the area. Then use the dry cotton ball or cloth to wipe over the same area again.

If you have a very sensitive skin and neither baby wipes or any other simple remover works well for you. Then it’s always better to invest in some good eye remover products. There are plenty of them available in online and offline market.Choose a brand that you trust !
