There can be many new and creative ideas that you can apply to get the sexy & attractive looking nails, but still there are some simple and easy to apply ideas that can get to it. To look trendy, you have to show some creativeness. Nail art is all about the creativeness that you can come-up to make your nails more attractive and sexy.

One simple Idea of getting attractive nails is to use the different shades of paint. You can use two different shades. First choose the color that you want to use more. Make sure these are in contrast to get more attractive & sexy nails. For example you can use Dark Pink & Golden shade of paint. Apply the main paint color on all nails except the first finger of both hands. Prefer Pink shade in this case. And then apply the golden color nail-paint to first finger of both hands. This will give you very attractive nails.  It’s better to use the main color (pink in this example) in synchronization  with the other makeup that you have done.

We got chance to meet some women having very healthy nails, and came across to know their good habits that helped them to keep their nails healthy. Here we are sharing some of those good habits:

  1. Always Gentle: Nails are delicate, scrubbing them too roughly can expose them to infections. They never do too much digging under the nail plate, it can cause it to separate from skin.
  2. Keep Hands Clean: Keeping hands clean have cascading effect on your health. Dirt and germ free nails become healthier. It reduces the chances of getting infection due to bacteria. Always wash hands before and after taking meals.
  3. Values Health over Length: Long nails look more beautiful and sexy, but if you are struggling from breakage then its better to keep them short. Keep short nails in begining and grown them with the time when nails become healthier.
  4. Takes Care of Her Tools: As they take care of themselves, in the same way they take care of their tools used for nail care. Nail tools, like nail cutter, brushes used to clean nails, tools used to give shape – filing, etc need to be cleaned and replaced from time to time. For cleaning them, alcohol can be used.
  5. Always Read Labels: Before buying any products, it is preferred to read labels with care. IF any doubt, prefer to check the internet for any ingredient that seems harmful.

Quitting anything that is a habit is very difficult, as you can’t change your habit easily. But, Yes! With the willpower your can do it. Nail biting is one of the bad habits that have many consequences-emotional and physical. Chances of developing the habit of nail biting are more during teen age. With the age it will reduce automatically due to busy schedule and social influence, but till then it can make severe damage to your health. It’s better to quit this habit as early as possible.

Simple steps to quit the habit of nail biting:

  • Identify the trigger points, like as boredom, watching TV, stress, etc. Then try to avoid the triggers as much as possible. This can’t happen overnight, so give it time to avoid all those situations.
  • Keep your nails short. This will make nail bitting difficult. Keep your nails well manicured and always keep reminding yourself that biting damages nail’s shape and look.
  • Apply an unpleasant tasting solution or substance on nails and fingertips. It reminds you not to do it and because of bad taste it’s easy to avoid nail biting too.
  • Keep your hands busy during those triggering times, like watching TV or having conversation with family members. So that nails should not make the way into your mouth.
  • You can go for some behavioral therapy too. You can take online training for habit change.
  • If above techniques are not working up to your expectations, then put bandages on nails. You can at-least put the bandages when you are at home, especially when you do nail biting excessively.

Nails are very important part of our body, so don’t consider them only as a piece of decoration. Growing healthy and strong nails are not very difficult, but you have to give time for caring them. New cells of nails develop deep under the cuticle and push out the older, dead ones – forming those flat, hard surface that you love to pamper and polish. So you should take care of some do’s in your daily life to make sure to grow healthy nails.

Do’s for Nail Care:

  1. Be Cautious of Chemicals in Nail Products: Those pretty shades of nails polish that you like the most, may be loaded with dangerous chemicals. So always try to find nail polish that have very less chemicals or devoid of all. One example of 5-free nail polish is Lippman’s nail polish. Always use nail products from trusted brands only. Don’t try new products on all nails without pre-testing on some part of nail or at one nail. Check the labels properly to know about the formula or ingredients of products before buying them.
  2. Take Care of Cuticles:  Cuticles are meant to be there to act as a barrier for bacteria.  So never cut your cuticles. Rather than cutting the cuticles, it’s better to push them back gently by using the cuticle pusher. Apply the products liberally to nails where skin meets the nails. It’s very important to take care of cuticles for healthy nails.
  3. Do Eat a Well-Balanced Diet: Nails are made from protein, so first thing that you can do is to add something in diet that have sufficient protein content. A well balanced diet is first stone in building the healthy body. To have healthy and strong nails try to have a well balanced diet. Never skip the meals.
  4. Keep Nails Hydrated: Water is main input to keep our body healthy and the same is very true for nails as well, as the nails are part of our body too. So keep them well hydrated. Drinking a lot of water is best way to keep the complete body hydrated.
  5. Clean the Nails Regularly: As we are cleaning our body by taking bath, washing face by using face-wash or scrub daily, in the same way we need to clean the nails as well. Clean the nails after doing any activity which caused some harm to nails, like gardening, contact with chemicals etc. You can use lemon slices to rub on nails to get them cleaned and then wash with lukewarm water. While washing the hands always wash the nails properly.

Everyone wants to have shinning nails. Pink color of nails attracts a lot ! and if coupled with a fine shape of nails will give a wow factor to looks of your hands.

Get benefited from these nail care tips to have beautiful and attractive nails:

  • To soften the hard nails soak your nails in warm olive oil for about 10 minutes at night. Rub the oil on the nails and cuticles to nourish and moisturize them. For better results, after soaking wear glows while sleeping.
  • For strong nails soak them in mixture of horsetail. You could also use horsetail oil. Repeat this daily for better results.
  • For removing stains from your nails, mix a tbsp of lemon juice in cup of lukewarm water and soak your nails in it for few minutes. Then rub your nails with towel or smooth cloth.

  • If you are using nail polish, take care that you do not use acetone nail polish remover.
  • For natural nail polish, rub petroleum jelly on your nails and then bluff with smooth cloth.

So, the danger with keeping your nail polish on too long is that the pigment in the nail polish can soak into the top few layers of the nail and dry it out

2. Now push back your cuticles using orange stick. Be mild, don’t be too hard on them.

3. Mix 3 tablespoon of lotion and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Heat this mix for 30 seconds or so.

4. Rub this mixture onto your cuticles and nail beds.  Put clean socks or gloves on your hands and hit the hay!
